Minerva operates with the utmost regard for the wellbeing of people, places and the environment. Our activities are managed to the highest environmental, health and safety standards. Prior to acquiring or investing in assets, we conduct HSE due diligence, as well as regular due diligence on our owned assets.
Our bunkering fleet is double-hulled, modern and oil-major approved with an average age of less than 10 years. Our tankers are optimized for bunkering and operated to the highest standards of maintenance and safety by our in-house fleet management division.
Minerva employs local people to manage and run its facilities whenever possible. We believe this not only makes good business sense, it also helps to create more sustainable businesses that are beneficial to the local community.
Minerva is enthusiastic about environmental sustainability and is an active supporter of the world’s transition towards a greener economy. We began including environmental products in our portfolio as the various markets began to develop, and we now trade in carbon emissions, certified biodiesel and other environmental products. Minerva has also invested in sustainable biofuel refining that encourages the use of carbon-neutral fuels.
